The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has unveiled the complete India squad for the upcoming 2026 U19 Asia Cup in Oman. Uttarakhand star Lakshya Raichandani has been named as captain of the team.
Aaryavir Sehwag and Anvay Dravid, sons of former Indian cricketers Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid, also found a place in the 15-player group.
Dravid, Sehwag's sons named in India U19 Asia Cup 2026 squad
On Friday, October 30, the BCCI unveiled the entire 15-player India U19 squad for the upcoming 2026 U19 Asia Cup. Lakshya Raichandani was named captain of the team, while Yashbardhan Singh Chauhan was appointed as his deputy.
Raichandani also recently led the India U19 team in their three-match unofficial ODI series against Australia at home. Under his leadership, India U19 won the series 3-0, and the skipper himself bludgeoned a match-winning 110* in the third youth ODI in Rajkot.
Aaryavir Sehwag and Anvay Dravid also retained their spots in the India U19 team after getting selected for the home series against Australia U19 just a couple of months ago.
Notably, Chigurupati Venkata and Rohit Yadav were dropped from the India U19 squad for the 2026 Asia Cup despite featuring in the series against Australia. Meanwhile, players like Aryan Savsani and Ishan Sood are new inclusions in the team after missing Australia fixtures at home.
In short, 13 of the 15 players selected for the home series against Australia U19 managed to retain their spots in the team for the 2026 U19 Asia Cup. Here is a look at India’s complete squad for the 2026 Asia Cup next week.

India to face defending champions Pakistan on November 8
As per the schedule released by the ACC last month, India U19 team is placed in Group A of the 2026 U19 Asia Cup alongside Pakistan U19, UAE U19 and Nepal U19.
They will face Nepal U19 in their first match of the tournament on November 6 at the OCA Ground 1 in Oman. A couple of days later, Lakshya Raichandani will face arch-rivals and defending champions Pakistan at the same venue on November 8.
India U19 will cap its opening round campaign with a match against UAE U19 at the OCA Turf 2 on November 10 before the semifinals and the final.
