In a significant development, KKR’s star boy Angkrish Raghuvanshi has undergone a successful surgery in London. Notably, the right-handed batter fractured his finger during the business end of IPL, which eventually ruled him out of the tournament.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi is a budding cricketer and was KKR’s star batter in IPL 2026. The 22-year-old scored 422 runs in 12 innings, averaging 42.20 in IPL 2026. However, he missed the last two group-stage matches for the Knight Riders.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi Undergoes Surgery In London
According to sports journalist Gaurav Gupta, Angkrish Raghuvanshi had travelled to London for the surgery, which was performed in the last week of June. Since it is a finger injury, the 22-year-old has not received the green light to return to action.

Eventually, after an over, Angkrish realised that he won’t be able to continue and left the field after consulting with the physio. Since then, the KKR star has not played a game of cricket.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi Joins Mumbai Camp
Gaurav Gupta also added that Angkrish Raghuvanshi has joined Mumbai’s pre-season camp in BKC. However, Raghuvanshi won’t take part in batting or bowling drills for the next 15 days.
“Raghuvanshi has joined Mumbai's pre-season camp at BKC. However, he won't bat or field for the first 15 days. He will only undertake fitness routines,” reported Gaurav Gupta.
Angkrish Raghuvanshi In High Demand Ahead Of IPL 2027
It is worth noting that after a successful IPL 2026, several teams have shown interest in having the 22-year-old youngster for the upcoming season. It is worth noting that there were reports that Mumbai Indians, who are looking to off-load Pandya, approached KKR for a trade.
