The Pakistan A cricket team will start out as defending champions for winning the 2025 edition last November in Qatar.

Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 format explained

The Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 will be hosted by Qatar between November 19 and November 29 at two different venues. Notably, Qatar also hosted the inaugural edition back in November last year.

A total of eight teams will participate in the tournament, and they are divided into two groups of four teams each.

Group A: Sri Lanka A, Bangladesh A, Afghanistan A, Hong Kong

Group B: India A, Pakistan A, Nepal, UAE

Each team will face other members of their respective groups once during the 12-match opening round. The top two sides from each group will qualify for the semifinals, set to be played on November 26 and November 27.

While the upcoming Men’s Asia Cup Rising Stars 2026 is the second edition of the tournament, it marks the eighth edition overall considering the junior Asian event was previously organized under the title "ACC Emerging Teams Asia Cup" in its first 10 years.
