Fakhar Zaman (United Tigers Captain):  [Thoughts on back-to-back wins] Very pleased. The way the guys are chipping in, the way Azmatullah and the all-rounders are playing. It is really great, I hope they continue it.

[On Omarzai's performance] It was crucial. In the batting, the way he bowled the first over and the way he finished both games. He's a talented cricketer, scored a lot of runs for Afghanistan as well. Really happy to play with him.

[Message to the bowlers] I just tell them to stick to their plans and if they do that, they will help us win games."
Azmatullah Omarzai (POTM): "[On back-to-back POTM awards] I am just trying to focus on my basics and not trying to think too much. If they are bowling in my zone, I try to go for boundaries.

[Thoughts when he came in to bat] I was thinking to play till the end. I knew if I had stayed till the end, I can get the team to a decent total."

9:10 PM IST, 07:40 PM Local Time: Another professional performance from the Fakhar Zaman-led United Tigers as they go two in two with this 25-run victory over the defending champions, UAE Bulls. The two spinners, Usman Tariq with 2/13 and Awais Ali Shah with 1/13 were impeccable while the others chipped in as well.
Chasing 127 for victory, the UAE Bulls lost Aneurin Donald in the very first over with Awais Ali Shah convincing his captain, Fakhar Zaman to opt for the DRS which helped in the United Tigers getting an LBW decision in their favour. The promising Khawaja Nafay came out all guns blazing to help the Bulls get to 55/1 after five overs although Andre Fletcher didn't find his touch. Fletcher's 14-ball struggle came to an end in the Floating Powerplay as he dragged on a wide delivery from Odean Smith. Thereafter, the likes of Usman Tariq and Azmatullah Omarzai contained the runs while the former also dismissed Kieron Pollard and Sunil Narine off back-to-back deliveries. Nafay ended up with an unbeaten 48* (25) but the UAE Bulls could only make 101/4 off their 10 overs.
Earlier in the match, Mohammad Amir got rid off Joe Clarke on just the second delivery of the match. Then, Fakhar Zaman got off to a flier but Sunil Narine rocked the United Tigers by dismissing their skipper and also Avishka Fernando in the fourth over. The wickets kept falling at one end but Azmatullah Omarzai held fort and smashed an unbeaten 48* (19) to help the Tigers post 126/6 which proved to be enough in the end.
