Milestone
Rajasthan conquered the defending champions tonight. Who will stop this Royal march? They will fly to Hyderabad next to take on the Sunrisers on Monday, April 13. Meanwhile, RCB will next be in action on Sunday April 12, when they take on MI in Mumbai.

But before that, tomorrow we have a double header lined-up. In the afternoon PBKS gear up to host SRH, while CSK lock horns with Delhi Capitals in the evening. Plenty to look forward to.

Do join us from 2:30 PM IST onwards tomorrow. For now, this is Darpan Tikiya signing off on the behalf of Akshay Bhide, Ninaad Dixit, AkshayaKrishna Polya, Paras Yadav, Aman and Manish Bishnoi. Keep following CREX for more cricketing action from around the world. Goodbye for now!
Vaibhav Sooryavanshi (POTM): "(Collects the orange cap and wears it proudly before getting asked if he will be cutting a cake tonight?) "No, I won't be cutting the cake tonight. I have to sleep early. We have an early flight tomorrow.

(On smacking heavyweights like Bumrah and Hazlewood) I just try to back my strengths and execute what I have done in practice. Of course, in the back of the mind, you know who the bowler is. But then, I try to play the ball and not the bowler.

(On the advice given to him by his care-takers) My father keeps on guiding me. Here my guardian is Romi sir. They keep on telling me that the journey is long. So, I have to be focused on my game and not anything else.

(The disappointment he exhibits upon getting out) If I stay in the middle, I know that we can reach the target an over or two earlier. So, if I get out playing a loose shot, it disappoints me."

Riyan Parag (Rajasthan Royals Captain): [On Guwahati wasn't being a happy hunting ground previously for RR] "Yeah, absolutely. Keeping the previous years in mind, I feel we weren't up to the mark in the last 3 years, but this year it was clinical, winning all 3 games.

[On a very serious chat with Sangakkara, even after winning tonight] It was about getting better. I feel the way we bowled, the way we started, I would have been happy with 200. The way we clawed back in the middle overs was brilliant. I still think we were like 20 over par. We should have bowled a little better, executed a little better. Maybe I made a few bad decisions and restricted them to like a 170-ish. But yeah, there's always something to learn in every game.

[What were the mistakes?] Few balls here and there. This is a wicket where not a lot of sixes are hit down the ground, especially off spinners. So I felt at some points we gave a little bit of room, played to the batsman's advantage. So I think as we move forward, we learn from these mistakes and try not to repeat them.

[How difficult is it to make multiple home grounds fortresses?] It's not really that tough. I think we put enough prep in Guwahati and in Jaipur. So I feel that once we did our camp in Jaipur, we had enough days of practice here. We know what the black soil does here. Keeps a little low and is a little sticky. So I think we're well prepared for any home game. Didn't really feel like a home game, but we were really prepared.

[On expectations from the upcoming away games] It's not really that tough. I think we put enough. I think very high-scoring grounds. Again, as I said, before the start of the season, that's what my chat to the team was: that we want to be a team that assesses and adapts really well. And I feel now that we've played on a sticky wicket and we've done so well, once we get a belter, I think we're going to do even better in Guwahati and in Jaipur. So I feel that once we did our camp in Jaipur, we had enough days of practice here. We know what the black soil does here. Keeps a little low and is a little sticky. So I think we're well prepared for any home game. Didn't really feel like a home game, but we were really prepared

[On Sooryavanshi] I think everyone loves him. Everyone loves having him around. He likes eating stuff. He likes going out and stuff like that. So we make sure we make that available for him. And he's a 16-year-old kid, 15-year-old, whatever it is. Yeah, doing kiddish things. And he's happy with that. He likes a lot of batting. So we make sure that it is presented to him. And if he keeps on batting like that, I think whatever he wants."
