That is all we have from the commentary box today. Till the next match of the T20 Blast, it’s good-bye and good-night from me (Satyam Rattan), my co-commentators (Shashank and Akshaya Krishna) along with our scorer - Paras.
Jake Lintott [Player of the Match]: "I am buzzing right now, it feels great to pick up the 2 points is really great. Not the greatest of conditions to play in but its a really proud moment for the boys. Love to get the Man of the match again in front of the home fans. Miles had a tough last ball because of the height no ball, he did well in the end to stay calm and pull it off. We were just chilling during the rain break and we are happy to get out there and grab the two points."

Being very clear from the start, Warwickshire adapted their score buildup for an eight-over game. Benjamin was the backbone of their innings with his 36 runs off just 17 balls guiding the Warks to 98 runs for the fall of 4 wickets in the shortened game of eight overs. Alex Davies played a fine short cameo in the end scoring 14 off just 4 deliveries to propel Warks past 90 runs and just nearing the 100 runs mark.

With Nottinghamshire needing 99 off 8 overs with the required run rate of 12.36, it was always going to be a tough chase for the Bears. Similar to the first ball wicket of Paul Stirling for Warks, Notts lost Clarke on the very first ball. The turning point of the game was - Ben Duckett started giving them momentum thanks to a free hit given by a no-ball from Miles. Miles bowled a costly over giving away 23 runs. Alex Hales too joined the hitting momentum. Lintott turned around the game for Warwickshire as he took the wickets of both well-set batsmen - Duckett and Alex Hales. As Notts needed 29 runs in the last three overs, Lintott’s second over was going to be the trump card. With a dropped catch in his over, Lintott gave away only 6 runs. Bowling Side captain Carlos Braithwaite bowled the penultimate over and got the opposition captain Christian out. With 6 needed off the last ball, Miles bowled a no-ball of height and Notts needed 3 off the last bowl. Now Samit Patel was retired out and Moores played the last ball which was a perfect yorker, managing only one.

Warwickshire won by 1 run. What a game of Cricket it was! Down to the last ball.

Shashank: You can't make this up!! whatta thriller we have had here today. We saw two retired outs in this 8 over thriller. Bears have pulled out a real heist today.

1 OH SCENES HERE! What a game it was! It was worth a wait! With three needed to win in the last ball Miles delivered a perfect yorker outside the off. It was a shade outside the off to be exact. Moores could only manage to dig it out as far as short extra covers. They could only manage a single. Bears are back to their winning ways with the barest of margins. They win by just 1 run!

Another meeting between the skipper, bowler and the keeper on where to land this final delivery. Samit Patel retires out as he makes way for Calvin Harrison. The reason is that Harrison is slimmer in built and can help in running.
Shashank: DRAMAA!!!! ITS A NOBALLLLL!!!! Notts need 3 from the last ball now. Carlos calms down his bowler and says him to deliver his best final ball of his life. Samit Patel is retired out to bring a slimmer player to do the running for the final ball.
