So Nottinghamshire win back-to-back games and are making it a habit now. This is their fourth win in the tournament. On the other side, Lancashire are decaying badly losing four games on a trot now. They did start the season by winning three consecutive games. Nottinghamshire have taken revenge for their loss in the previous fixture earlier this season.

For now, we are signing off! This was me AkshayaKrishna Polya who along with my co-commentator Deepak Prakash brought you all the live-action of this contest alongside our scorer/analyst Paras Yadav despite some stream issues later in the second innings! We will meet again. Until then, it's cheers!
10:14 PM IST | A complete domination by Nottinghamshire Outlaws at their home ground in Trent Bridge see them over the line by five wickets against the star-studded Lancashire Lightning side!

It was a brilliant bowling display from the Outlaws after losing the toss, bundling Lancashire out for a small total of 145 in 18.3 overs. Phil Salt and Jos Buttler gave the Red Roses a flying start adding 33 runs for the first wicket in a quick time. But once this partnership was broken in the fourth over by Matthew Carter things turned around and the visitors felt the pressure. They lost a couple more wickets in the Powerplay and were in a spot of bother at 41/3.

Liam Livingstone (34 off 30) and Daryl Mitchell (31 off 20) tried to rebuild with a 49-run fourth-wicket partnership but once Samit Patel got rid of Mitchell in the 11th over, Lancashire lost the plot and lost wickets in a flurry to get all-out before their quota of overs.

For Nottinghamshire, Matthew Carter bowled a magnificent spell and finished with three wickets. Jack Brooks, Shaheen Shah Afridi and Calvin Harrison scalped a couple of wickets each with the other wicket going to Samit Patel.

Coming to the chase, Joe Clarke gave the team a rollicking start alongside Alex Hales. Both added 58 runs for the first wicket with the former being aggressive and the latter struggling with timing. Once Clarke (42 off 24) was taken care of by Jack Blatherwick in the final over of the Powerplay, Notts Outlaws lost wickets regularly. But with the target being under control, this didn't add to the pressure. Liam Livingstone and Blatherwick picked two wickets each while Tom Hartley scalped a wicket.

Although the Steven Mullaney-led side lost five wickets in the run-chase of 146, a couple of handy partnerships in the middle helped them to cross the victory line. Noteworthy mentions of the partnership between Samit Patel and Matthew Montgomery of 28 runs for the 4th wicket and an unbeaten 30-run stand between Tom Moores (26* off 18) and Steven Mullaney (14* off 11) sealed the deal for the hosts with 7 balls in hand.
