21:46 IST, 17:16 Local Time| Gloucestershire showcased a dominant display as they completely outplayed the Sussex Sharks, securing a comprehensive 5-wicket victory in their pursuit of a target of 161 runs.
Earlier in the game, Sussex Sharks won the toss and elected to bat. They kept losing wickets at regular intervals. Harrison Ward and Michael Burgess provided some resistance, stitching together a valuable partnership of 64 runs for the 5th wicket. Ward scored 54 runs, while Burgess blazed his way to 64 runs off just 37 balls. The remaining batsmen struggled to make an impact. In the end, Sharks got to a total of 160 runs.
Gloucestershire's bowlers David Payne, Ajeet Dale, Tom Smith, and Graeme van Buuren scalped a couple of wickets each, causing havoc for the Sharks.
