Rilee Rossouw has been awarded the Player of the Match for his crucial contribution with the bat in the first innings.
Earlier in the day Gloucestershire won the toss and opted to bowl first. They were right on the money in the first three overs as they forced the opposition on the backfoot with Amir producing two brilliant overs for his side while picking up a crucial wicket within the power play.

However, Somerset managed to bounce back from the early setback courtesy of brilliant knocks from Rilee Rossouw and Lewis Gregory as both the batter produced two top-notch half centuries that saw their side post a total of 184 runs on the board at the end of the designated twenty overs.

Amir and Howell were the top bowlers for their side with two wickets each while Glenn Phillips picked up the remaining wicket.

Getting into the chase Gloucestershire got off to a flyer but lost their openers after a good start. Their middle order kept them right in the chase as the kept scoring boundaries at regular intervals.

However the penultimate over from Peter Siddle changed the entire scenario of the game as the veteran Aussie bowler picked up three crucial wickets including Benny Howell to close the game for his side.

G
loucestershire tried to finish off the game but at the end they fell short by 13 runs.
