7:38 PM IST, Local Time: That brings us to the end of our coverage of the first of two UPT20 games today. The Noida Kings were down for most of the run-chase, but never really out, and clinched the game with a ball to spare. They jump to third in the points table thanks to the win today, and while their opponents today, the Gorakhpur Lions, will walk away with positives, they find themselves fifth in the table currently
Kartik Siddhu (POTM): "(On his confidence while batting lower down the order) Yes, sir. I have to do whatever the team requires of me.
(About his bowling) I’m feeling quite confident, sir. I didn’t bowl in the previous match, so it felt really good to contribute with the ball and do well in this game.
(Regarding improving the top-order of the team) Yes, sir, we can definitely improve. It hasn’t happened yet, but hopefully it will happen going forward. We have a very good team, so hopefully we’ll make a stronger comeback.
(About Prashant Veer) Yes, sir. He’s a big player. In the UPT20, he has proved time and again over three seasons that he’s a big match-winner. So hopefully, he’ll win matches for us going forward.
(Mindset while bowling today) Yes, sir. I felt the wicket was helping when I bowled those rotation deliveries with a bit of flight. So I was trying to follow that and bowl that delivery as much as possible."

(On the runs drying up before the last over) I knew that they were a bowler short, 15-16 runs would have been chasable but I was still confident when 18 were needed.

(On their bowling) We could have curtailed 15-20 runs with the ball had we taken our catches and bowled according to our plan, but it's cricket. Keeps happening every now and then."
