So that's it from this exciting series and match. The ODI series has won by the Bangladesh side by a margin of 2-1. T20I series is levelled at 1-1. The trophy for winning the ODI series 2-1 is handed over to Mahmudullah and Bangladesh Team.
Mohammad Nabi (Afghanistan Captain): "Thank god that the boys played really well. We bowled and fielded well. We thrown a wicket early in the batting but Zazai and Ghani batted beautifully. In the first game we made mistakes in the batting and today we didn't do that. We are trying to build the team for the World Cups. We have a young team on our hand and they will try to do good for the team."
Fazalhaq Farooqi: "Thanks god in his native language. First of all congratulations to the nation and congratulations for the team. I am very happy to be the player of the series. We are the young side and we produced a good brand of cricket and we won it."
Fazalhaq Farooqi is the Player of the series.
Azmatullah Omarzai: "Thank you god, It was my second T20 game and I did well. I'm happy for it. Definately, I was trying to get ore dot balls and thereby create more pressure. Thankfully I got the wickets."
Azmatullah Omarzai is adjudged the player of the match.
Mahmudullah Riyad (Bangladesh captain): "Yeah, I think it was a good wicket to bat on. We couldn't live upto the expectation. Yeah, probably it wasn't a 150 wicket i guess, but certainly a 130-140 wicket. We didn't get any partnership and that's been the cause of the loss. Yeah, me and Mushy was trying to get the partnership done. But someday you are lucky and sometimes, the luck doesn't favors. Yeah, deifinately, I think we need to do well as a group in terms of our fielding. yeah, probably I think we have t20 games in May-June. and before that maybe we have ODI's and Tests."
