Ranji Trophy prize money for winners

The winners of the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 final will take home INR 5 crore as the prize money. Notably, in April 2023, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced a hike in prize money for all domestic tournaments. On the other hand, the runner-ups will get a prize of INR 3 crore.

It is worth noting that the winning amount is INR 14 lakhs more than the amount received by the semi-finalists who lost in the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 (₹4.86 crore).

In 2023, the Indian cricket board substantially increased the prize money for all domestic tournaments, both men's and women's. The hike in men’s prize money ranges from 60 to 300 per cent, while the two women’s tournaments witnessed a hike in excess of 700 per cent.

Consequently, winning the Ranji Trophy 2024-25 final, Vidarbha took home ₹5 crore, according to the hike announced by the BCCI for all domestic tournaments. Meanwhile, Kerala got ₹3 crore after finishing as the runner-up of the 2024-25 season.
