PSL has delivered countless thrillers, but some matches have stood out for sheer dominance rather than nail-biting finishes. In these rare contests, teams have completely outplayed their opponents, securing victories with an extraordinary number of balls remaining and showcasing absolute control.
Such commanding wins are a reflection of all-round excellence, where bowlers restrict oppositions to modest totals and batters chase targets with ease. These performances underline the depth, balance, and intent within squads, turning what could have been competitive games into one-sided affairs.
In this listicle, we revisit matches defined by dominance and efficiency rather than drama. From explosive batting displays to clinical chases, these games remain benchmarks of superiority in T20 cricket. Here we take a look at the biggest wins by balls remaining in PSL history.
3. 60 balls - By Islamabad United vs Quetta Gladiators, Abu Dhabi, 2021
Number three on the list features Islamabad United’s incredible dominance against Quetta Gladiators in PSL 2021. Chasing 137, Islamabad secured a 10-wicket win with 60 balls remaining in Match 18 at Abu Dhabi, delivering one of the most commanding performances in league history.
After winning the toss, Islamabad United opted to field first, and their bowlers fully justified the decision. They never allowed Quetta’s batters to settle, maintaining constant pressure throughout the innings and eventually bowling them out for just 133 in 20 overs.
In response, openers Usman Khawaja and Colin Munro dominated from the start, stitching an unbeaten stand. Munro’s blistering 90 off 36 balls dismantled the bowling attack as Islamabad United chased down the target in just 10 overs, sealing a record-breaking win back in the time.
2. 79 balls - By Quetta Gladiators vs Multan Sultans, Lahore, 2025
Quetta Gladiators’s stunning chase against Multan Sultans in PSL 2025 at Lahore takes the second place in the list. Chasing just 90, Quetta secured a massive 10-wicket win with 79 balls remaining, marking one of the most one-sided encounters in PSL history.
After winning the toss, Quetta Gladiators opted to bowl first and completely dismantled Multan’s batting lineup. Mohammad Amir set the tone early with the new ball, but it was Khurram Shahzad who starred with a brilliant four-wicket haul, bowling Multan Sultans out for just 89 runs.
In reply, captain Saud Shakeel and Finn Allen went on the attack from the beginning. The duo tore apart the new-ball bowling, never allowing Multan Sultans to comeback in the game, chasing the target in just 6.5 overs without losing a wicket, sealing a completely dominant victory.
1. 80 balls - By Islamabad United vs Hyderabad Kingsmen, Karachi, 2026
The latest entrant in the list and at the top of the throne is Islamabad United, who delivered a stunning performance against Hyderabad Kingsmen in Match 36 of PSL 2026 at Karachi. They secured a commanding eight-wicket win with 80 balls remaining to seal their playoffs spot.
It was a complete bowling masterclass led by Richard Gleeson earlier, whose brilliance dismantled Hyderabad Kingsmen’s batting lineup. Islamabad’s bowlers kept things tight throughout, never allowing momentum to build, eventually bowling them out for just 80 in a must-win encounter.
Chasing 81, Islamabad United did face an early hiccup as Devon Conway got out for a duck. However, a counterattacking effort from opener Sameer Minhas and Mohsin Riaz at three ensured a quick finish, with the target chased down in just 6.4 overs.
