Time to wrap up this coverage, folks! For now, it’s me, Deepak Prakash, signing off on behalf of scorer/analysts Paras Yadav and Bishal Mandal. CHEERS!
Anurag Dwivedi (Lucknow Lions Captain): "I already posted the story that we would break their winning streak. However, I’m not completely happy—we could have won by at least 30-40 runs. Chennai Smashers is a good team, and I reckon they deserve to play in the final. To be honest, I am not happy with the bowlers, but we will try to work on it. I advised Akash not to take pressure and to go for big shots from the first ball."
Akash Yadav (POTM): "Feeling really good. It was an important game for us, and I am very happy with the result. Everyone is doing well; Bobby is struggling a bit, but overall, we are doing well. I was not that focused, but today I was in my zone."
Player of the Match: Akash Yadav
Time for the post-match presentation......
5:00 PM IST, Local Time: Lucknow Lions win by 10 runs, and they put a brake to Chennai Smashers' winning streak.

Earlier, after opting to bat first, Lucknow Lions lost Bobby Yadav for a golden duck in the opening over of the match. However, Akash Yadav and Aman Deep Singh went honkers and bonkers from the outset and pummeled the bowlers to all corners of the park.

Akash notched up his century and delivered a scintilating 118 runs off 31 balls, while Aman remained unbeaten on 79 runs off 26 balls. The dynamic duo helped the Lions post a mammoth 208/3 in 10 overs.

Rahul Bisht bagged a couple of wickets for Chennai Smashers, while Ankit Nagar contributed one wicket.

In response to a massive total, Chennai Smashers lost Rahul Bisht (0) and Lakshay Kaushik (12) cheaply. Ankit Nagar (46) and Gulshan Nain (32) provided much-needed acceleration to keep the innings on track. Abhishek Kapur came out all guns blazing, smashing an unbeaten 80 off just 21 balls. However, it wasn’t enough for the Smashers to chase down the hefty target, as they lost wickets at regular intervals and were restricted to 198/8 in 10 overs.

Ashish Kumar Meena shone with the ball for the Lions, claiming four wickets. Bobby Yadav bagged a couple of wickets, while Deepak Kumar Meena and Manohar Kumar Bhat contributed one wicket to the downfall.

Stay tuned for the post-match presentation

0 Full and at the stumps. Kapur drills down to long-on, who dives across and stops it. The batters look for a single but decide against it. The third umpire has been referred for a run-out check at the bowling end, but the replay shows that the batter is well inside the crease. Lucknow Lions win by 10 runs.
