Rohit Paudel(Nepal Captain): "I think we stay calm. Sompal, Karan everyone stepped up in the death by staying calm and delivered. We knew Sompal has mastered the trick of slower and yorkers. The believe was that he will do well in super over and he did that.
After a long time, we won a series outside Nepal. It means a lot. I thank the crowd for showing the support."

09:30 AM IST and 11:00 PM Local Time | Nepal have got a series victory defeating USA in their den! This match went down the wire and Nepal dominated in the final stages to make a great comeback to seal the deal.
Nepal was sent to bat first earlier and they lost their opener Aasif Sheikh cheaply in the early stage of the first innings. But Kushal Bhurtel and Anil Sah started to rebuild. Anil Sah was not in good touch as he scored just 25 facing 31 deliveries. However Gulshan Jha gave Bhurtel the company and he started the onslaught. He scored just 19 from 12 balls to give his side some momentum and after his departure, Kushal Bhurtel took the charge. He hit a few maximums and boundaries on the loose balls to get to his half century. Rohit Paudel gave him some company to score 18 but Bhurtel was the main aggressor. He remained unbeaten on 92 from 54 balls with 7 boundaries and 6 maximums. Karan KC finished the innings with a maximum. Nepal scored 170 runs in the first innings.
For USA, Nosthush Kenjige and Jasdeep Singh took a couple of wickets each and Saurabh Netravalkar took one wicket.
Coming to chase the run, USA lost their skipper Monank Patel for 1. But Andries Gous and Saiteja Reddy Mukkamalla built the partnership for the 2nd wicket and registered 92 runs in it. Saiteja scored 47 runs from 41 balls with 2 fours and 3 maximums. After his dismissal, Andries Gous took the innings forward with his singles and doubles. Milind Kumar and Shayan Jahangir played two brief cameos to support him. Meanwhile Gous reached his fifty, his sixth one in T20I in 35 balls.
The game went down the wire in the end and USA needed 7 from the final 6 balls. Sompal Kami bowled the last over and removed Andries Gous in the fourth ball of the over and the equation was 3 from 2. USA could muster only 2 runs and the game went to super over.
For Nepal, Karan KC took 3 wickets. Sompal Kami bowled brilliantly in the death and finished with 2 wickets for 34 runs. Sagar Dhakal and Dipendra Singh Airee took one wicket each.
Sompal Kami was handed the task to bowl the super over and restrict the USA batters. He removed Shayan Jahangir and the birthday boy Aaron Jones in consecutive deliveries and restricted USA to mere 2 runs. Coming to chase 3 runs, Rohit Paudel and Kushal Bhurtel made no mistake and pulled the chase off with 2 balls to go.
