That's the end of what was a very smooth chase by the Tornadoes. Never for a minute did they look like struggling to get to the target. It was a terrific start by skipper Sophie Devine and her opening partner Sterre Kalis, who racked up a partnership of 90 runs off just 67 balls, ensuring a comfortable chase and a comfortable win.
Gunjan Shukla was the sole wicket-taker for the Falcons, ending with figures of 2/32. Anju Gurung and Mariko Hill were economical throughout their spells with economy rates of 5.50 and 5.40, respectively. However, they just did not have runs on the board to make a contest out of this game.
