Player Bio

One of the oldest and the most experienced members in the current Omani squad, Naseem Khushi is a wicket-keeper batsman who made his International debut for Oman in the T20 Desert Challenge against the Netherlands in January 2017.

Hailing from Sialkot, Naseem moved to Oman at an early age to find a career in cricket. He was soon fast-tracked into the national team after some impressive performances in the domestic circuit. A year after making his T20I debut, Naseem was introduced to the longer formats, making his List A debut against Kenya in February 2018.

After the arrival of Suraj Kumar, the wicket-keeping burden was shared by these two and Naseem was named in Oman’s T20 World Cup squad as a backup to Suraj. In the twilight of his career, the 39-year old would be looking to make the most of whatever opportunities presented to him in the upcoming years.
