Niki Siribhagwan Prasad is a right-handed batter who represents the Delhi Capitals women in the Women’s Premier League (WPL). She was born on October 25, 2005, in Karnataka, India, and eventually went on to represent Karnataka Women’s team in the domestic circuit. 

Prasad began playing cricket at a very young age, playing for the Karnataka Women's team. At the age of nine years, she made her debut in the Under-16 age group, and quickly rose to the state's Under-19 team. Her career had a spectacular start. 

Additionally, the young-gun has batted and contributed with the ball while representing Ameya Sports. She joined the Delhi Capitals camp at the base price of 10 lakh in the WPL 2025 auction, which took place in December 2024. Prasad made her debut in the WPL, one of the top women's cricket leagues, by scoring 35 vital runs at a strike rate of 106.6 against the Mumbai Indians. This performance demonstrated her ability to perform well in high-stakes games in addition to helping her team win. Despite having few bowling opportunities, she demonstrated her ability to field.  

Meanwhile, in the 2025 Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup, which was held in Malaysia, Niki Prasad led the India Under-19 Women's side to victory. She performed admirably as the team won the tournament with a resounding victory over South Africa in the championship match in February 2025.

Her career looks bright. She has a long list of accomplishments at the young age of 20, which characterizes her fantastic career start. Her participation in the WPL will allow her to hone her abilities and get enough recognition to join the national squad soon.
