Player Bio

Opening batter Georgie Boyce has made a mark in the English domestic circuit with her consistent good performances.

The 1998-born cricketer has featured in over 100 T20 matches for various county clubs.

The Nottingham-born player first started her career with Nottinghamshire in 2013. Then she moved to Lancashire Women before returning back to Nottinghamshire in 2023 on back of a run-laden season with the Red Rose. In 2023, Boyce also became the first female to play in the Notts Premier League.

In 2025, the opening batter, who is also comfortable in batting at the number three position, joined Yorkshire Women on loan, where she has given several fine performances.

Boyce's cricketing talent was spotted by her school PE teacher and Lutterworth cricketer, Sue Day, who persuaded her to play club cricket.

Notably, the right-handed batter does not come from a cricketing background and thinks that it is good for her.

"My brothers are very supportive but don't know much about cricket...I think that's actually quite refreshing for me because I'm then just Georgie Boyce at home - not the cricketer," she said in an interview.

A member of numerous England academy and development sides, she was among the first wave of players awarded professional contracts in 2020.

Off the field, Boyce has engaged with local cricket communities, inspiring young aspiring players through coaching camps and outreach programs.
