Player Bio

An explosive top-order batter and a gun fielder, MacKenzie Harvey is a professional Australian cricketer who was a part of the Australian U-16 and U-19 setup. A bright, young prospect, Harvey made his List A debut for Victoria against Western Australia in September 2018 and showed plenty of promise.

The youngster was signed by the Melbourne Renegades for the eighth edition of the Big Bash League (BBL) and made his debut on the third last day of 2018 and was a member of the title-winning team only 50 days later. Injury ruined the 21-year old’s BBL campaign but he recovered soon to lead the U-19 Australian side at the 2020 World Cup.

Harvey adds extra energy to the field and his aggressive batting can take the game away from any team. Having been retained by the Renegades for the eleventh edition of the BBL, he would be hoping to take his game to another level and earn a chance to wear the Baggy Green.
