Pakistan Women have hit a new low in T20I cricket, registering their lowest-ever score in the format during their ongoing Women’s Asia Cup 2026 clash against India. The unwanted record came in the ninth match of the tournament.

With India firmly in control in the Group A contest at the Dubai International Stadium, Pakistan’s batting struggled badly under pressure. Their collapse resulted in a disappointing landmark for the team on a major tournament stage.

Pakistan Women 55 All Out Against India, Now Their Lowest T20I Total

Pakistan Women had a horrible day with the bat after opting to bat first following the toss against India. They got almost everything wrong, collapsing to just 55 all out in 18.1 overs.

India’s bowling attack was clinical throughout, constantly putting Pakistan under pressure and eventually wrapping up their innings well before the 20-over mark. It turned into a day to forget for Pakistan cricket in Dubai.

The 55 all-out against India in Women's Asia Cup 2026 is now Pakistan Women’s lowest-ever score in T20Is, surpassing their previous record of 56 against New Zealand at the 2024 T20 World Cup, also at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.

India’s Spin Web Leaves Pakistan Reeling in Asia Cup Clash

After putting themselves in to bat first against India, Pakistan’s openers looked decent initially, adding 23 runs in the first four overs without losing a wicket before India’s bowlers began turning the game completely in their favour.

Shafali Verma then provided India with the crucial breakthrough, striking in her very first over and setting the tone for Pakistan’s collapse. Pakistan soon lost three wickets by the end of the powerplay, slipping from 23/0 to 29/3.

India’s spinners completely tightened the grip thereafter, with Deepti Sharma, Prema Rawat and Shree Charani doing further damage. Pakistan crashed from 27/0 to 35/6. Umma-e-Hani and Eyman Fatima tried rebuilding, but a poor run-out ended their resistance as Pakistan folded for 55.

Pakistan’s Historic Low Becomes Fifth-Lowest T20I Total Against India Women

Pakistan’s 55-run total now stands as their lowest-ever T20I score in history. Notably, it also becomes the fifth-lowest total ever registered against India Women in T20Is, underlining just how severe their batting collapse was.

The list is led by Malaysia Women, who were dismissed for 27 against India in the 2018 Women’s Asia Cup in Kuala Lumpur. Thailand Women’s 37 in 2022, Bangladesh Women’s 51 in 2023 and 54 in 2016 complete the other three totals above Pakistan.

For Pakistan, their lowest ever T20I score could hardly have come at a worse time, arriving against their arch-rivals India in a major Women’s Asia Cup 2026 clash. After entering the tournament with a win over Thailand, they now find themselves embarrassed by a historic batting collapse on a huge stage.
