The Afghanistan leg-spinner produced a brilliant spell of 5 wickets for 17 runs, helping MI defend a strong total of 183/6.
His outstanding bowling also helped him to equal Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Imran Tahir, and Lasith Malinga with his fifth five-wicket haul in T20 cricket.
MI London posted their highest total of the season with significant batting performances from Will Jacks and Nicholas Pooran. Jacks smashed 62 runs from just 31 balls, while Pooran added a quick 54 off 28 balls.
Rashid Khan's Brilliant Spell Turns The Match In MI London's Favour
Manchester Super Giants made a strong start while chasing 184. Openers Aiden Markram and Tim Seifert added 59 runs in only 30 balls, putting MI under pressure. Markram led the charge with an attacking half-century, reaching 50 from just 26 balls.
However, the game changed completely once Rashid Khan came into the attack. He first bowled Tim Seifert for 17 before dismissing Jos Buttler for just two runs. Those quick wickets shifted the momentum firmly towards MI London.
Rashid continued his domination by taking crucial wickets of Heinrich Klaasen, Tom Moores and Liam Dawson.
