LSG opening batter, Mitchell Marsh, was having a hot and cold IPL 2026 before he met the defending champions, RCB. In the entire tournament, Marsh has played some key knocks, but those never resulted in big scores until he faced the lacklustre RCB bowling attack at Ekana.

The LSG Vs RCB IPL game was marred by rain, but that didn’t stop Marsh from causing damage to the RCB attack, as he took them to the cleaners and hammered a 49-ball hundred. In the process, he broke Pant’s record and became the LSG batter to register the fastest IPL century.
Pant had slammed a 54-ball ton against RCB last year, and Marsh attained the century milestone inside 49 balls.
