The Kolkata Knight Riders are all set to face Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 6 of the Indian Premier League (IPL 2026). The KKR vs SRH match will be played at Eden Gardens on Thursday, April 2.

Firstly, KKR, led by Ajinkya Rahane, had a tough start to the season as they lost their opening match against the Mumbai Indians by 6 wickets. However, there were some positives, as Rahane scored 67 runs, while Angkrish Raghuvanshi added 51.

On the other hand, SRH also lost their first match, as they were beaten by Royal Challengers Bengaluru. While batting first, SRH managed to score 201/9. Although they were in trouble early at 29/3, stand-in captain Ishan Kishan played a brilliant innings of 80 runs off 38 balls. At the same time, Aniket Verma supported well with a quick 43 off 18 balls.

However, in reply, RCB chased the target comfortably in 15.4 overs. Devdutt Padikkal scored 61 off 26 balls, while Virat Kohli remained unbeaten on 69. Along with them, Rajat Patidar also contributed with a quick 31 off 12 balls, making the chase look easy.
