Why Are India Fans Heartbroken After West Indies' Record Breaking Partnership?
The record stand is a moment of celebration in the Caribbean, but the Indian fans are equally heartbroken because South Africa’s win would have enhanced their qualification chances for the semis.
At present, India have no point after a game and South Africa, West Indies have two points in one match. With South Africa's win, the last super 8 match match between India and West Indies will become a virtual knock-out. However, for that to happen, the Men in Blue need to beat Zimbabwe on Thursday, February 26 at the Chepauk Stadium in Chennai.
Talking about the ongoing match, at the time of writing this article, South Africa have got off to a positive start and have put 43/0 on the board after 4.1 overs.
