The Ishan Kishan-led Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will take on the Delhi Capitals (DC) on Tuesday at home - the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad.

The Orange Army is on a roll, winning two in their last two outings, with three victories after six matches. In their previous game, they outsmarted Chennai Super Kings, thanks to the tactical brilliance of Ishan Kishan, the captain, and a solid team effort.

Batting first, Abhishek Sharma set the ton with his second half-century of the season, before Heinrich Klaasen gave them a move on. As they finished on 194/9, the bowlers had runs on the board, but against the tall batting of CSK.

Although none of Chennai's batters could score big, they remained in chase for the whole time. If not for Ishan Kishan's street-smart leadership in the death overs, Chennai would have chased down in the game.

Ahead of their next home game, let us walk through what can be the SRH Playing XI vs DC.

SRH Playing XI vs DC, IPL 2026, Match 31

Top Order: Abhishek Sharma, Travis Head, Ishan Kishan

The Hyderabad fans were treated with an Abhishek Sharma special in the last game. The attacking southpaw was at his imperial best, hitting a 22-ball 59, which he decorated with as many as six fours and four biggies, breaking a world-record to hit a fifty inside 20 balls five times. The Indian star opener laid the foundation when his opener partner struggled on the other end.

The ever-attacking Travis Head hasn't been himself in this IPL 2026. Although he scored 23 runs after facing 20 balls, a player of Head's calibre is just one knock away. Thus, he will be a crucial pick and will be retained for the SRH Playing XI.

The skipper Ishan Kishan was at his tactical best as a captain, but the wicketkeeper was dismissed on a golden duck against CSK. He has been their best batter this season, and he look to leave a mark in the SRH Playing XI vs DC.

Middle Order & All-Rounders: Nitish Kumar Reddy, Heinrich Klaasen, Aniket Verma, Salil Arora

Chennai's Jamie Overton got the better of Nitish Kumar Reddy, the batter, as he failed to bat through the middle overs. However, he was used at his best by the SRH captain with the ball. He bagged the two big wickets of Sanju Samson and Ayush Mhatre, tilting the game in Hyderabad's favour.

The has been talk about Heinrich Klaasen's strike rate in IPL 2026, but the South African has been playing while taking the responsibility well. His 39-ball 59 against CSK will go down as one of his best this season. Thus, he will be a vital part of the SRH Playing XI vs DC.

The SRH management has invested wisely in two sharp, yet young, prospects - Salil Arora and Aniket Verma, for a dynamic finish. Though the duo failed to finish vs CSK, they will be in the SRH Playing XI for the next game.

Bowlers: Shivang Kumar, Praful Hinge, Sakib Hussain, Eshan Malinga

Shivang Kumar, the left-arm leg-spinner, has to be the find from Hyderabad's camp in this IPL 2026. Although he has bagged just five wickets in as many outings, Shivang is a true wicket-taker. His 1 for 18 (in three overs) surely tilted the game in SRH's favour in their last outing.

If Shivang has been the find of the season, then the unearthing of Praful Hinge and Sakib Hussain has been no less. And credit goes to their bowling coach, Varun Aaron. Hinge went for runs against CSK, but Hussain returned after bowling a misery of a spell. Thus, the pace duo will be in the SRH Playing XI vs DC.

In the absence of Pat Cummins, the bowler, Eshan Malinga has been a great first-change bowler. At times, he has started his spells with wickets and on the rest of the occasions, he has terrifying partnerships against them.

In their last game, Harsh Dubey was dropped from the SRH Playing XI for Dilshan Madushanka, but Liam Livingstone played over the Sri Lankan due to the late collapse. In the upcoming game, there will be a solid toss-up between Dubey and Madushanka as the Impact Player.
