The Rajasthan Royals (RR) played a scintillating game against the Punjab Kings, when they became the first side to beat the table-toppers in the IPL 2026. Despite chasing down the target of 223 runs, Riyan Parag vaping in the RR dressing room became the talk of the town.

As the BCCI have sanctioned the RR captain for the infamous episode, the air of Parag getting banned has cleared.

In Match 43, Rajasthan will take on the Delhi Capitals at home at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Friday. Ahead of this big clash, let us look at what could be the RR Playing XI vs DC at Jaipur.

RR Playing XI vs DC, IPL 2026, Match 43

Top Order: Yashasvi Jaiswal, Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, Dhruv Jurel

The way RR's opening pair of Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi is working, they must be feeling blessed. In the last game, the young Sooryavanshi smashed an electric 16-ball 43, while his senior partner amaaed a 51 off 27 balls. The openers will be the most integral part of the RR Playing XI vs DC.

Dhruv Jurel is batting at number three. Although he has hit close to 250 runs this season, the keeper-batter struggled against PBKS. His job in this RR Playing XI is to anchor the innings. However, his last outing - 20-ball 16 - was a mess, to say the least.

Middle Order & All-Rounders: Riyan Parag, Ravindra Jadeja, Donovan Ferreira, Dasun Shanaka

RR Captain Riyan Parag has been exceptional as a captain. But he is already having a tough season with the bat, and now the vaping incident will only put more pressure on him. However, if there is a scale to judge a cricketer, it is a stage like this. Nevertheless, Parag will be a key part of the batting in the RR Playing XI.

The way Donovan Ferreira finished in the last outing, there will be no question about his place in the RR Playing XI vs DC. The South Africa has been a brilliant addition to his RR line-up, and he is leaving his mark in every game. Meanwhile, Shubham Dubey also played a fine hand, alongside Ferreira, against PBKS. Despite his gung-ho finishing touches, the stylish batter won't be a parting of the RR Playing XI, but he will serve as the Impact Player.

Along with Ferreira, Ravindra Jadeja and Dasun Shanaka will be there as all-rounders. Jadeja has been proving his mettle on a consistent basis, while Shanaka replaced Shimron Hetmyer in the last game. Thus, these two all-rounder will retain their slots.

Bowlers: Jofra Archer, Nandre Burger, Ravi Bishnoi, Brijesh Sharma

Jofra Archer has been the biggest positive for RR this season after the openers - Vaibhav Sooryavanshi and Yashasvi Jaiswal. The English quick has been nothing less than a thunderbolt for the one-time champions. He is bowling cyclinders and terrorising opposition batters with his fiery pace. Thus, he will be a central part of the RR Playing XI vs DC.

Nandre Burger has been a perfect assist to Archer in this RR Playing XI, but the Proteas seamer has been leaking runs like a broken tap. In the last two games, Burger has given away 109 runs in just 7.3 overs. RR have an option to drop him for another South African left-armer, Kwena Maphaka. However, Nandre Burger will likely get one more game to regain his rhythm.

Yash Punja played over Ravi Bishnoi against PBKS and returned two big wickets. However, Bishnoi could be back. It is worth noting that he has RR's second-best bowler this season after Jofra Archer.

Brijesh Sharma is trusted heavily by his captain. In six innings, the young right-arm seamer has taken seven wickets. Although he went wicketless against Punjab, Brijesh will be trusted again.
