Rawalpindiz will come up against Multan Sultans in Match 14 of the ongoing PSL 2026 on April 6, Monday. The enthralling contest will be live for fans to watch from 7:30 PM IST at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore.

It has been a tough start for team Rawalpindiz as they have lost each of their first three games in PSL 2026 so far. Despite entering the tournament with high hopes, they have failed to defend targets in all three games, putting their campaign on the back foot.

Their batting at least showed promise in the initial games, but a lack of consistency has become a significant concern. In their most recent outing against Islamabad United, their batsmen faltered, failing to build partnerships and set competitive totals.

Rawalpindiz's bowling has been the biggest area of weakness, as they have struggled to contain opposition batting line-ups. With time running out, Rawalpindiz needs to regroup and find a way to click as a unit.

To stand a chance against the high-flying Multan Sultans, who have been dominant in both batting and bowling, Rawalpindiz must find a way to tighten their bowling attack and stay composed under pressure.

Rawalpindiz Likely Playing XI vs Multan Sultans- PSL 2026, Match 14

Top-order: Mohammad Rizwan (c) (wk), Yasir Shah, Kamran Ghulam

The Rawalpindiz top-order is expected to remain largely unchanged for their crucial clash against Multan Sultans. Mohammad Rizwan, the captain, provides stability at the top. Him getting big runs will be key as Rawalpindiz searches for their first win.

Yasir Shah, had a great start but has not performed up to the mark in the last two outings. Known for his dynamic stroke-play, Shah's attacking mindset will be crucial to setting the tone early, especially against a strong Multan attack.

At number three, Kamran Ghulam, who scored a brilliant half-century in the last game, is likely to hold his spot. A consistent performer in the early stages of the tournament, Ghulam's ability to accelerate as his innings progresses makes him a valuable asset.

Middle-order: Daryl Mitchell, Sam Billings, Abdullah Fazal, Dian Forrester

Rawalpindiz middle-order is a dynamic mix of power and stability, with Daryl Mitchell leading the charge. The New Zealander has been in fine form and remains the team's highest run-scorer, providing the backbone in the middle-overs.

Sam Billings, at five, with his explosive batting, will look to build on his potential and provide the much-needed consistency in the middle-order. Having shown glimpses of brilliance, he will be eager to convert his starts into big scores.

Abdullah Fazal, known for his rapid scoring and aggressive style, adds significant firepower. He has been striking at 184 in PSL 2026, and has shown that he can turn the game around in a few overs coming at number 6.

Alongside him, Dian Forrester, who impressed with an unbeaten 44 off 19 balls in his tournament debut, is capable of finishing the innings on a high note, giving Rawalpindiz the much needed finisher at number 7.

Bowlers: Rishad Hossain, Amad Butt, Jalat Khan, Mohammad Amir

Rawalpindiz bowling attack has been underwhelming so far in PSL 2026, but the team still boasts a potent pace unit. Mohammad Amir will continue to lead the charge, specializing in both the new ball and death overs.

With Naseem Shah not fit, left-arm pacer Jalat Khan is set to get another opportunity. Rishad Hossain, the leg-spinner, will have a key role to play in the middle-overs vs Multan Sultans Amad Butt is expected to come in place of Mohammad Amir Khan as one change from the last game.
