India and West Indies cricket teams will be squaring off in match number 52, i.e., the final Super 8 match of the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. The much-awaited IND vs WI contest will be hosted by the iconic Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday, March 1 and the action will commence from 7:00 PM IST onwards.
The winner of the match will become the second and final team from Group 1 to qualify for the semifinals of the tournament.
The Indian cricket team won four Group A matches in a row to qualify for the Super 8 stage of the 2026 T20 World Cup. However, the ‘Men in Blue’ were electrocuted by a comprehensive South African performance in Ahmedabad last week to fall to the brink.
