The 2nd ODI between Pakistan and Bangladesh has been interrupted due to rain at the Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Dhaka. The match was stopped due to heavy winds and drizzle in the seventh over of the 2nd innings.

Notably, Pakistan, batting first, put 274 runs on the board. In reply, Pakistan got off to the perfect start as they reduced the hosts to 27/3 after 6.3 overs. However, heavy winds forced the umpires to halt the play, which didn't go well with Pakistan players.

A report from CREX also mentioned that it was lightning that first forced the umpires to stop the play to ensure players' safety.

According to accuweather, there isn't much rain predicted. Cloud cover is around 98% and heavy winds are rightly predicted as well. However, Pakistan fans should be happy because rain won't last for long and the play will resume soon.

However, latest visuals doesn't look nice from Mirpur, because the city is witnessing hailstorm at the moment.

There were showers expected in the first ODI as well but the game saw no interruptions. Rain delay in Mirpur is unusual, which is why Pakistani stars were more upset because it was just a light rain and more of a strong wind that forced the umpires to stop play.
