Shadab Khan celebrates aggressively in PSL match [Source: X]
Shadab Khan, the captain of Islamabad United, was fuming in anger after he sent back Karachi Kings' batter Salman Ali Agha in PSL 2026 match 25. The clash, held at the National Bank Cricket Arena in Karachi on April 16, saw a fierce contest between the two teams, with Pakistan's skipper and Islamabad's captain getting involved in an unspoken feud.
Shadab Khan, who played for Pakistan in the T20 World Cup 2026, was seen all charged up, almost like India star Virat Kohli on the ground after a special dismissal of his counterpart Salman Ali Agha, who represented Karachi Kings.
Shadab and Salman's Pride In PSL 2026
The heated clash saw a competitive score on the board as Karachi Kings struggled to reach the 150-run mark, courtesy of Reeza Hendricks’, Jason Roy’s, and Azam Khan’s contributions.
So far in PSL 2026, Salman Ali Agha hasn’t found much form with the bat. He is struggling at an average of 14.00 while striking at only 129.23.
With a responsible knock yet to come from the bat of the all-rounder, Shadab Khan managed to poke another hole in Salman’s pride.
While cricketing celebrations are a part of the game and should be taken in a sportsmanlike spirit, Shadab’s celebration seemed a little too intimidating towards Salman.

How Shadab Got Salman Agha's Wicket?
Shadab, who has been on a good run in this Pakistan Super League, struck Salman Ali Agha with a crucial wicket in the 11th over. Bowling just the second delivery, Shadab delivered a length ball outside the off stump, and Agha skipped down the track to slam it in the air.
However, he misread the delivery as the ball caught the outside edge and flew to the sweeper fielder Dipendra Singh Airee.
Shadab Khan Celebrates Aggressively After Dismissal
Soon after the dismissal, Shadab Khan, otherwise a decent and modest player on the field, was seen all charged up as he shouted in the face of Salman Ali Agha, with aggressive gestures, even throwing a punch in the air towards him.

Soon after, though, he broke into a wide smile as keeper Devon Conway came in to celebrate with the Islamabad United skipper. Salman Agha could only look away and check his bat as he walked back to the pavilion with his head hung low.
Karachi Kings Stitch Modest Total After Batting Collapse
Nevertheless, Karachi Kings' batting, in that PSL 2026 match, relied on only three pillars. As Saad Baig opened with Jason Roy, the former was dismissed early in the second over, with Roy holding on to responsibilities.
Reeza Hendricks, the Proteas star, played a slow yet responsible 44-ball 51 to help Karachi recover from the early blow.
Meanwhile, Azam Khan also chipped in with a 29-ball 34 to help Karachi Kings reach a respectable total on the board. So far, Karachi Kings have been in red-hot form, currently in the middle of the table in fifth position.
Karachi have won 3 out of the 5 PSL matches they have played, with Islamabad United now in third position, courtesy of Shadab Khan, with a solid net run rate of +1.363, even after just 3 wins from their 6 games.
