Hassan Khan, who once captained Pakistan in the U19 World Cup back in 2018, took an exceptional catch with just one hand on Sunday in Match 5 of the Global Super League (GSL) 2026 at Providence Stadium, Guyana.
Playing for San Francisco Unicorns, Hassan Khan, now a USA citizen, picked up a beauty of a catch while fielding at cover region. In the process, Ashton Agar, one of the integral members of the Perth Scorchers, had to return to the pavilion.
Hassan Khan Pulls Off An Incredible One-Handed Grab
It all happened when Callum Stow bowled to Ashton Agar during the 15th over of the Perth Scorchers' innings. Batting on 4off 7 balls, Agar made some room to smash an outside off stump delivery to the right side of the cover region, where Hassan was there.
The 27-year-old made an incredible dive with perfection, stretching his one hand to pull off a spectacular catch.

Eventually, San Francisco Unicorns, the team which Hassan Khan captains, defeated Perth Scorchers by five runs in their recent meeting.

Batting first, San Francisco Unicorns posted 152/8, with Hassan only making a 1-ball 1. With the ball, he conceded 15 runs off his two overs without taking a wicket, helping his side restrict Perth Scorchers to 147/9.
How Did Hassan Perform In U19 World Cup?
Under Hassan Khan, Pakistan topped the Group in the U19 World Cup 2018, which included Afghanistan, Sri Lanka and Ireland.
In the U19 World Cup 2018 semi-final, they met India U19, a team that included Shubman Gill and was captained by Prithvi Shaw. The young Men in Blue humbled the Hassan Khan-led side there, folding them out for only 69 in 29.3 overs after posting 272/9 batting first.
With the bat, Hassan Khan made 79 runs across five innings in the U19 World Cup 2018, striking at 72.48. With the ball, he picked up seven wickets in five matches, maintaining an economy rate of 4.27.
When Hassan Khan Moved From USA To Pakistan
After seeing himself go unpicked in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) draft back in 2023, Hassan Khan decided to move to the USA. After that, he made a good impression while playing in Australia’s Big Bash League (BBL) and the West Indies’ Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
Later on, Hassan returned to Pakistan to play PSL 2026, where he represented Hyderabad Kingsmen. There, he took six wickets in 12 matches at 8.56, and made 139 runs at an aggressive strike rate of 195.77.
Recently, Hassan was in action during the Major League Cricket (MLC) 2026, representing San Francisco Unicorns. They were at the top of the points table after the league stage, having won six out of 10 outings.
