After a long stop in Bengaluru on Saturday, the fans were treated with a nine-over affair at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium between India and West Indies. The rain-shortened match didn't stop the Indian batters, especially Ishan Kishan.
Batting first, the mantra was simple for Team India: Go bang, bang and bang! The number 3 batter, Kishan, obeyed that during his explosive 10-ball 30, where he smoked three boundaries and two bigguies, including one maximum that landed over the roof of the stadium.

The southpaw first smacked the bowling all-rounder, who plays for Bengaluru in the IPL, for a six before rotating the strike for a double.
The third delivery went for a boundary, but the shot of the evening came when he smoked it for a maximum over deep backward square leg for a 92-meter hit. The ball landed over the roof of the stadium and had to be replaced by the fourth umpire.

After Ishan Kishan went down, skipper Shreyas Iyer took over the baton in the rain-shortened affair. Although the captain’s knock was 22 runs, it took the Indian team to a commanding position.
India kept losing wickets in quick succession, but Naman Dhir turned up the heat with a sublime six-ball 24* before the game was eventually called off due to rain.
After 7.4 overs in the first innings, with the Men in Blue at 118/5, the game was called off with no result. The trophy had to be shared between the hosts and West Indies.
