The final T20I between India and West Indies is scheduled to be played at Bengaluru's M. Chinnaswamy Stadium on Saturday evening. As the city's adopted child, Bhuvneshwar Kumar is making a grand India comeback, but the rain gods aren’t being kind as the pelting in Bengaluru has delayed the toss.

After Shai Hope played a sublime century in the previous game, West Indies levelled the series 2-2. With both teams vying for the series win, the final encounter promises to be a thrilling decider.

IND vs WI 5th T20I toss delayed due to rain

As predicted earlier, the toss for the IND vs WI 5th T20I has been delayed, with rain predicted for the whole evening on Saturday.

Due to drizzle and bad weather in Bengaluru, the toss for the series finale was officially delayed. So far, there is no update on the start of the match or when the coin will be flipped.

Nearly 30 minutes before the scheduled time for the toss, the covers were placed on the main pitch, with the ground staff looking to protect the surface from rain and unexpected weather conditions.

As a result, both India and West Indies, who arrived well ahead of time, have not started any pre-match drills or warm-ups.

M. Chinnaswamy Stadium's drainage system one of the best in India

Having said that, the facilities at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium are among the best in the country, if not in the whole world.

Thanks to the outfield and drainage system present, the ground staff at the stadium don't take much time to mop up the ground and make the conditions match-ready.

If the rain stopped, the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium's groundsmen would need just 30 minutes to get the IND vs WI 5th T20I underway. However, by the looks of it, the rain doesn't seem to stop anytime soon.
