Hasan Ali, the Karachi Kings pacer and a Pakistan pace veteran to be more specific, took 3/24 against the PSL 2026 team Rawalpindiz on April 2, 2026. The match between the two teams saw Rawalpindiz take advantage of the belter of a pitch at Gaddafi Stadium.
197 was put up on the board by the Mohammad Rizwan-led team, yet Hasan Ali stood out with his bowling figures, which also included a fiery send-off to the team’s second-highest run scorer, Sam Billings.
PSL 2026 Sees Fiery Celebration From Pakistan Veteran
The Pakistan Super League 2026 has been underway with high-intensity matches already, and to spice up the affair, Ali was seen aggressively celebrating the wicket of the tormentor of Karachi Kings in the Thursday night match.
While the duo are a tough nut to crack on the field for each other, they share a brotherly bond off the field. In ILT20, they have played together, which further intensifies the reason behind Hasan Ali’s aggressive reaction to Billings wicket.

Ali Signals Sam Billings To Get Out Of The Field After Dismissal
In an unbelievable display of sheer pace bowling, during the third ball of the 18th over, Ali delivered a good-length ball angling inside the off stump. Billings attempted to slog the delivery over the leg side; however, he misread the height, and the ball directly crashed onto the stumps, hitting the off stump.
Soon after, the bails went flying into the sky, Hasan aggressively shouted “Bahar, Bahar, Bahar,” which then saw him signalling with his hands raised towards the exit to Sam Billings to go outside the stadium since he had been dismissed by the bowler.

The aggressive face stayed on for a couple of seconds before Billings acknowledged the dismissal himself.
Sam Billings Fist Bumps With Hasan Ali After Fiery Send Off In PSL 2026 Match
Billings then calmly walked towards Ali with a wide smile on his face as he accepted the defeat and also shared a fist bump and a nudge before he went back to the dugout. This dissipated any heated exchange that might have occurred between the two due to Ali’s reaction.
Nevertheless, Billings played a gem of an innings. The batter scored 58 runs off 35 deliveries to help push Rawalpindiz total near 200.
Notably, Mohammad Rizwan himself scored 21 off 13 balls, with Daryl Mitchell scoring a respectable 65 off 41 balls to cushion the early top-order collapse of the team.
Hasan Ali Scalps The Most For Karachi Kings
This helped Rawalpindi gain solid momentum with the bat, as amidst Karachi Kings bowlers, only Ali, Khushdil Shah, and Mir Hamza managed to scalp wickets, with the former being the highest wicket-taker.
Significantly, as of April 2, Hasan Ali is also the highest wicket taker of the tournament with his 8 wickets from 3 matches as he bowls at an economy rate of 6.33 and strike at 9.00 in PSL 2026.
