Sunrisers Hyderabad have got off to the worst possible start in their 168 run-chase against Gujarat Titans as the Men in Orange lost their openers early on in the innings. Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma failed to create an impact, leaving SRH in early trouble.
Travis Head returned to the pavilion for a four-ball duck. Abhishek Sharma got off to a perfect start with a six, but fell prey to Kagiso Rabada, and got out in an unlucky manner.
Abhishek Sharma Gets Unlucky vs Gujarat Titans
On the 4th ball of the 2nd over, Abhishek Sharma looked to make a room for himself, but Rabada followed him. Eventually, Abhishek was cramped up for space, and the ball hit his glove and rolled onto the stumps, while the southpaw couldnโt do anything, and just saw the bails dislodging.
Abhishek Sharma returned to the pavillion after scoring 6 (4), and it was the pressure of two dot-balls that forced the India star to make room for himself. Notably, Kagiso Rabada too was elated with the dismissal and now can attract some fine from the BCCI because of his animated celebration.

Kagiso Rabada Fears Fine From BCCI
After the wicket, Kagiso Rabada got too close to Abhishek Sharma and gave him an animated send-off. The right-arm seamer knew that Sharma was a big fish and got carried away while celebrating.
Now, the 30-year-old fears a punishment from BCCI as IPL bars bowlers from coming too close to the batter while celebrating a dismissal. Here is the ICC rule that can actually land Kagiso Rabada in trouble. Notably, Kyle Jamieson too faced a similar fine a few days ago for aggressive celebration against Vaibhav Sooryavanshi.
Key ICC Code of Conduct Provisions (Article 2.5): It deals with "using language, actions or gestures which disparage or which could provoke an aggressive reaction from a batter upon his/her dismissal during an International Match".
What is Prohibited: Excessive celebrations directed at a dismissed batter, including screaming in their face, running directly towards them, or pointing/gesturing toward the pavilion.
