Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma continue to make headlines, both for their professional and personal life. This time, the power couple is in the spotlight after purchasing a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Versova.
According to property registration documents accessed by Zapkey.com, the apartment is spread across 2,644 sq ft and is located in the premium Godrej Skyshore project in Andheri West.
Why Did Virat Kohli And Anushka Sharma Buy A New Apartment In Mumbai?
In a significant development, according to property registration documents, Virat Kohli and his wife, actor Anushka Sharma, have bought a luxury apartment in Mumbai’s Versova for ₹18.29 crore.
According to reports from Hindustan Times, the apartment is located on a higher floor of the Godrej Skyshore project in Andheri West and offers a carpet area of 2,644 sq ft.
The property also comes with an exclusive area of 316 sq ft and three dedicated parking spaces. The transaction for the property was officially registered on July 21, 2026.
According to the documents, the couple made a stamp duty payment of ₹1.09 crore along with registration charges of ₹30,000. It is vital to note that this is not the couple’s first luxury home in Mumbai; they already own a sea-facing apartment in Worli.

Virat & Anushka Continue To Expand Their Property Portfolio
This is not the first time that Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma have purchased a luxurious and premium property. In January 2026, the couple bought more than five acres of land in Zirad village near Awas Beach in Alibaug for around ₹37.86 crore.
According to property documents accessed by CRE Matrix, the deal included two adjoining land parcels covering nearly 21,010 square metres and was registered on January 13, 2026.
Will Kohli And Anushka Sharma Move To India?
It is worth noting that after Virat and Anushka purchased this new apartment, many fans on social media started wondering whether the adorable couple will move back to India. However, there is no official confirmation from the couple about any such move.
The celebrity couple currently live in London and have decided to raise their children away from constant public attention.
Looking at the professional front, Virat Kohli last played in a three-match ODI series against England. In the series, the star player made 144 runs at an average of 48.00 and a strike rate of 109.09.
Kohli will likely next play in the West Indies tour of India 2026; the series will begin with three ODIs and a five-match T20I series.
On the other hand, Anushka Sharma is now more focused on family life and not films; her last movie was Zero (2018).
However, she may make her screen comeback with an unreleased Hindi-language biographical sports drama film - Chakda 'Xpress.
