Harry Brook is the only one right now who’s in the top 10 in Tests and T20Is. The former Australia skipper believes players can develop their games enough to become successful in every format.He referred to Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers as examples of batters who managed to excel in both Test and T20 cricket.Clarke believes Sooryavanshi could follow a similar path if he develops the skills needed for red-ball cricket.“I think you can still play all three formats. Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers showed that. These guys were brilliant Test cricketers and unbelievable T20 cricketers as well. If a player from this generation like Sooryavanshi can make the transition into Test cricket, it is going to be unreal to watch. But whether he wants to play Test cricket is going to be a question as well,” said Clarke.Does Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's First-Class Record Point Towards A Test Future?Vaibhav Sooryavanshi's red-ball career is still in its early stages, so judging his Test potential solely on his current numbers isn't fair. Taking a look at his FC stats, he has played 11 matches and made 399 runs at an average of 23.47 and a strike rate of 96.61.The teenager recently showed what he can do with the red ball in the Duleep Trophy 2026. Representing East Zone, he scored 93 in the semi-final against Central Zone and became the youngest player to hit a fifty in the tournament.Sooryavanshi was also part of East Zone's title-winning campaign and served as vice-captain.
