The franchise raised bids for several overseas cricketers, and managed to rope in Australian all-rounder and BBL superstar Nikhil Chaudhary, as well as legendary South African middle-order batter David Miller.
Both Chaudhary and Miller will be joining fellow Australia and South African players Marcus Stoinis and Tristan Stubbs respectively, to constitute the four overseas recruits of the Southern Brave.
The franchise also managed to bag senior England spinner Adil Rashid , experienced T20 fast bowler Tymal Mills and Australia-born Surrey paceman Daniel Worrall. The three, along with Jofra Archer, form Southern Brave’s formidable bowling line-up.
Australian T20 elites Marcus Stoinis and Nikhil Chaudhary are joined by England’s Chris Jordan and Under-19 sensation Caleb Falconer in the team’s all-rounder department.
Jamie Smith, Thomas Rew and Michael Pepper are the three specialist wicketkeeper-batters in the side.
