Conclusion

To sum up London Spirit’s activities at the auction of The Hundred 2026 Men’s season, the franchise has assembled a group of 14 cricketers. Having made one retention and three direct signings earlier this year, the franchise acquired 10 players on the day of the bidding event, including two overseas stars in the form of New Zealand fast bowler Adam Milne and young South Africa wicketkeeper-batter Lhuan-dre Pretorius.

Pretorius will be joining senior international batter Jonny Bairstow and fellow Englishman James Rew as one of the three specialist wicketkeepers in the London Spirit squad.

Among specialist batters, the franchise recruited uncapped England cricketer and Worcestershire’s middle-order star Adam Hose. The 33-year-old will likely be joining explosive South African cricketer Dewald Brevis in the team’s middle-order.

With the likes of Liam Livingstone and Jamie Overton, the London Spirit team features an elite all-round presence, further bolstered with the presence of new recruits, David Willey and young James Coles.

Glamorgan’s Mason Crane joins Adam Zampa as the only other specialist spinner, with the likes of Adam Milne, Tymal Mills and Surrey paceman Matt Fisher constituting London Spirit’s pace battery.
