The third and final T20I between Sri Lanka and West Indies will take place at Sabina Park, Jamaica. It will get underway at 6 AM IST on Monday (June 15).
Prior to this fixture, the other two T20Is took place at this venue only. The series is nicely poised 1-1, which means the third T20I between the two sides will be nothing but a decider.
Sri Lanka and West Indies played a three-match ODI series before the T20Is. Sabina Park hosted the 50-over fixtures as well. Unfortunately for the fans and the players, two of those fixtures were washed out due to inclement weather.
The other fixture had Sri Lanka as winner, the game where Kusal Mendis won the Player of the Match award for his 62-ball 72.
In the 1st T20I, Jason Holder was excellent with the ball in hand. The Gujarat Titans all-rounder took three wickets while conceding just 18 runs off his four overs.
In the second T20I, Sri Lanka’s Dasun Shanaka played a breezy 24-ball 58, which had five fours and four sixes. Even with the ball, he conceded only six runs off his over before he was fittingly adjudged the Player of the Match award.

As the WI Vs SL 3rd T20I match is set to get underway on 7:30 PM local time, Accuweather suggests there is little chance of interruption.
Even though there is a possibility of overcast conditions, only eight percent chances of rain is there at Sabina Park when the third T20I between West Indies and Sri Lanka will happen.
Conclusion
Even though there is little difference between the West Indies and Sri Lanka in terms of strength on paper, expect the Shai Hope-led side to secure the T20I series.
Nevertheless, the best part of the story is that rain is very unlikely to interrupt the WI Vs SL 3rd T20I. The ODIs were ruined because of that at Sabina Park, but it won’t be the case in the T20Is.
Not to forget, there are two Tests scheduled once the T20Is are over. North Sound’s Vivian Richards Stadium will host two Tests, on June 25 and July 3 respectively.
