India Women’s team boasts a formidable batting line-up in T20Is. The team has also justified its reputation multiple times in the format by charting up fierce totals, regardless of the conditions.
Even against Pakistan Women, one of India’s fiercest rivals in international cricket, the runs notched up by the ‘Women in Blue’ have often carried considerable weight and match-winning significance. Here, we take a look at three of India Women’s highest totals in T20I matches against Pakistan.

3. India Women 137-3 vs PAK, Providence, 2018
In match five of the 2018 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, India Women batted second and chased down Pakistan’s total with an over to spare.
Chasing 134 runs to win in Group B match of the tournament at the Providence Stadium in Guyana, the ‘Women in Blue’ reached 137-3 in 19 overs.
Opening batter Mithali Raj compiled 56 off 47 balls with seven cracking boundaries to top-score in the innings.
Her partner Smriti Mandhana made 26 off 28 and shared a 73-run opening partnership in just 9.3 overs.
Jemimah Rodrigues at number three struggled to get going at 16 from 21 balls, while captain Harmanpreet Kaur and number five Veda Krishnamurthy took India home with an unbeaten partnership.

Harmanpreet belted two boundaries in her unbeaten 14 from 13 balls, while Krishnamurthy notched up the winning runs off Pakistan pacer Aliya Riaz to get to 8* by the end of the 19th over of the innings. India’s successful chase also marked their highest total in Women’s T20Is against Pakistan Women at the time.
2. India Women 151-3 vs PAK, Cape Town, 2023
At Newlands in Cape Town during match number four of the 2023 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, Jemimah Rodrigues orchestrated India’s epic heist with a blistering 53* from 38 balls.
Batting at number three, the cricketer belted eight boundaries in the innings, including successive fours off Pakistan’s Fatima Sana to notch up the winning runs.
After restricting Pakistan Women to 149-4 in 20 overs, Indian opener Shafali Verma clattered four boundaries in her electrifying 25-ball 33. Yastika Bhatia made just 17 from 20 balls, before her dismissal at the brink of the powerplay led to an early arrival of Rodrigues.
While captain Harmanpreet Kaur listed just 16 off 12 balls, the number three batter shared a decisive 58-run partnership in just 33 balls with firebrand Richa Ghosh, who smeared 31* off 20 deliveries with five boundaries.

India eventually chased down the target in just 19 overs to record their first-ever 150-plus total in T20Is against Pakistan Women.
1. India Women 170-6 vs Pakistan, Birmingham, 2026
Indian Women captain Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and opted to bat first against Pakistan in match number six of the 2026 ICC Women’s T20 World Cup at Edgbaston in Birmingham. \
While Shafali Verma fell for just six off five balls in the opening over of the match, prolific opener Smriti Mandhana fired away with a scorching 68 from just 44 balls with nine boundaries and two huge sixes.
Captain Kaur also compiled 36, albeit at a near run-a-ball, before Richa Ghosh blasted 34 off 17 balls to turbo-charge the Indian innings at the death.
Crucial late runs from Deepti Sharma catapulted the Indian team to a monumental 170-6 from 20 overs to mark their highest-ever total against Pakistan in T20Is.
