RCB Women pipped Delhi Capitals to win the WPL 2026 season. Captain Smriti Mandhana and opener Georgia Voll blasted scintillating half-centuries to make light work of Capitals’ 200-plus total.

Here, we take a look at the entire highlights from the final match of the WPL 2026 season between RCB Women vs Delhi Capitals Women, as it panned out at the Kotambi Stadium in Vadodara on Thursday, February 5.

Jemimah Rodrigues 57, Henry’s finishing fury takes Capitals to 203

Being put into bat first, blistering openers Shafali Verma and Lizelle Lee got Delhi Capitals off to a flier. The two cricketers raced to a 49-run partnership inside the powerplay, with Verma clattering three sizzling boundaries in her fiery 13-ball 20. While young Shafali nicked one towards Richa Ghosh off Arundhati Reddy, her partner Lee hung around for a while to slap 37 off 30 balls.

The South African cricketer launched three boundaries and three huge sixes in her innings before getting bested by fellow Proteas star Nadine de Klerk in the eighth over of the match.

Laura Wolvaardt at number three compiled a brisk 44 from 25 balls with three elegant boundaries and two huge sixes. The modern-day run machine remained defiant for the Delhi Capitals until the last ball of the innings before a run out deprived her of a run.

Captain Jemimah Rodrigues also came to the fore for her side with her top-scoring act of 57 from 37 balls. Demonstrating her charisma on the big night, the Indian international pierced the gap eight times in the glittering evening before West Indies import Chinelle Henry provided the slog-overs impetus to the Capitals.

Henry blasted 35* off just 15 balls with four cracking boundaries and two huge sixes as Delhi Capitals mounted 203-4 in 20 overs.

For RCB, Sayali Satghare (1-46), Arundhati Reddy (1-40) and Nadine de Klerk (1-48) all picked up a wicket each in their expensive spells. Despite going wicketless in the game, Lauren Bell stood out for the 2024 champions through her economic figures of 0-19 in four overs.

Smriti Mandhana, Georgia Voll win it for RCB

Chasing 204, Chinelle Henry jolted RCB Women early with the big wicket of Grace Harris for just nine. Captain Smriti Mandhana and number three Georgia Voll subsequently forged RCB’s counterattacking recovery with a 100-plus partnership for the second wicket.

Both cricketers unleashed an extraordinary sequence of boundaries and sixes to ensure RCB raced to 100-1 around the halfway mark of the chase. Voll tonked a 37-ball half-century through the course of their partnership, while Mandhana reached the landmark figure in just 24 deliveries.

However, both Voll (79 off 54) and Mandhana (87 off 41) lost their wickets at a crucial stage to Minnu Mani and Henry respectively. Radha Yadav (12*) and Nadine de Klerk (7*) overcame Capitals’ late fightback to notch up the winning runs for RCB in a thrilling final over.

RCB Women win second WPL title in three seasons

The outcome also marked RCB’s second WPL title victory in the last three seasons of the tournament. Back in WPL 2024, the Smriti Mandhana-led side outperformed Meg Lanning’s Capitals in the final to lift their maiden silverware.

Earlier this tournament, RCB had become the first side to qualify for the playoffs courtesy of their table-topping run.
