After the first T20I between India and England was washed out, the hosts won the IND vs ENG 2nd T20I at Manchester. The caravan has moved on to the Nottingham for the third match on Tuesday.

India had put runs on the board in the last game, thanks to Abhishek Sharma, Shreyas Iyer and Tilak Varma. However, those valiant efforts went in vain as the target of 191 runs was chased down with ease.

The English skipper Harry Brook laid the platform, especially after Arshdeep Singh's legendary opening over. However, the highlight was Jacob Bethell’s innings, which took England home with his stylish 76 not out.

IND Vs IRE, 3rd T20I: What the captains had to say

Shreyas Iyer (India Captain): "We are going to bowl first. (On the last match and Ravi Bishnoi's over) That was just a hiccup, which you cannot control. You have to back your bowler. Every player goes through that phase. The boys are in high spirits. I had chat with him (Ravi Bishnoi) and he is only going to learn and get better.

(On the pitch) By the looks of it, it is a beautiful wicket. One side is short. So, we will look to make use of it.

(Team news) One change: Prince Yadav comes in for Ravi Bishnoi.

Harry Brook (England Captain): "We were a little bit indecisive, to be honest! Glad that we lost the toss. We would have batted first.

Yeah, I thought it was an excellent performance from everybody involved. We fielded outstandingly, and we bowled well, especially in the middle phase. That was an area that we wanted to improve.

With this team, we never feel that you are out of the game.

Every game is a big game against India and any nation. We are happy to be here. We want to go 2-0."
