The Punjab Kings franchise will head into IPL 2026 season on a trail of their best-ever performance in over a decade, having reached the final of IPL 2025 last year. Finishing runners-up under the leadership of Shreyas Iyer, they will be brimming with confidence and determined to go one step further this time.
Iyer will continue to remain captain of the side, and he will be accompanied by fellow experienced campaigners like Yuzvendra Chahal, Marco Jansen, Marcus Stoinis and two-time T20 World Cup winner Arshdeep Singh.
The franchise also made several new recruitments in the form of Australian bowlers Cooper Connolly and Ben Dwarshuis at the IPL 2026 auction late last year.
