In his post, Shah questioned the special treatment given to the politician. Soon after, the post was deleted, and he claimed that his account had been hacked. Even so, the PCB took the matter seriously.

"Naseem Shah is very lucky. Let me tell you the inside news: he was set to be banned for two years; the committee had recommended it. The credit goes to Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. He told them not to ban Naseem and instead hand him a monetary penalty," Basit Ali revealed the details on on ARY News.
At the same time, Shah has been dealing with fitness issues. He suffered a side strain during a PSL match, which forced him to miss further games. Consequently, he has been ruled out of the ongoing PSL season.
The PCB has also expressed concern over his repeated injuries. Therefore, Shah is expected to undergo a detailed rehabilitation program under the board’s medical team.
