Mohammad Rizwan has challenged the proceedings and questioned the basis of the investigation, insisting that he has not been informed about any specific allegation against him. The batter has reportedly used the ICC portal to seek clarity over whether the global governing body is aware of the developments and whether the matter falls within the scope of the ICC Code.Rizwan has also sought guidance from the ICC Anti-Corruption Unit, maintaining that corruption-related allegations involving an international cricketer should be dealt with through the appropriate cricketing authorities.His latest move comes after he responded to a questionnaire issued by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA). In his response, Rizwan questioned the foundation of the inquiry and asked the agency to provide details regarding the allegations being made against him.According to the reported response, Rizwan specifically stated that he had not been informed about which online gambling incident he was allegedly connected to. Rizwan had taken legal action against the cybercrime agency, arguing that he had not been informed about a specific allegation and questioning the authority under which he had been summoned.Rizwan initially appeared before the agency in Lahore and was reportedly questioned for around two hours.
