Krunal Pandya Puts His Head Down In Shame On Hardik Pandya’s Mention By RCB Insider

The bond between Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya has recently drawn a lot of public attention. Notably, this interest started after rumours suggested there might be tension between the two brothers. However, there has been no official confirmation or statement from either side, and the situation remains unclear.

At present, both brothers are actively playing in Indian Premier League (IPL 2026). Krunal Pandya is part of RCB, the defending champions. On the other hand, Hardik Pandya is leading Mumbai Indians, one of the most successful teams in IPL history.

What are the reasons behind the speculation?

It is important to note that the rumours mainly started through social media discussions. Fans noticed that Krunal did not publicly congratulate Hardik after India’s T20 World Cup 2026 win. At the same time, Hardik Pandya reportedly did not post any birthday wishes for Krunal. 

In addition, recent photos showing their mother with Hardik’s former partner Natasa Stankovic led to further assumptions about possible family issues. As a result, people began connecting these small incidents and building theories.

Tension rises between Krunal Pandya and Hardik Pandya

During a recent match between Mumbai Indians and RCB at Wankhede Stadium, fans noticed a change in their behaviour. Earlier, the brothers used to greet each other warmly during matches. This time, their interaction seemed more formal and less emotional.

During the game, Krunal bowled a sharp bouncer to Hardik. Notably, Hardik managed to avoid it, although his reaction suggested slight surprise. Later, when Hardik got out due to a combined effort from teammates, Krunal celebrated energetically.

Krunal Pandya reacts to the rumours 

Despite all the speculation, Krunal Pandya addressed the situation in a positive manner. He praised Hardik by calling him one of the best finishers in cricket, alongside Kieron Pollard. This statement indicated respect and appreciation, which does not align with the idea of a serious conflict.

Meanwhile, during a light and humorous interview, Mr Nags, who is known for his witty style, tried to tease Krunal in a playful manner. He started by joking that Krunal did not come to meet another “family member,” referring to himself. 

Krunal responded casually, saying that in a big family, it is common to miss meeting some members at times.  He said, “Sometimes there's a lot of members in the family but you miss someone.”

Then, the conversation took an interesting turn when Mr Nags added a subtle follow-up, hinting at Krunal’s real family, especially his brother Hardik Pandya. Danish Sait replied, "like your brother."

At that moment, Krunal’s reaction stood out. Instead of continuing the banter with the same energy, he lowered his head and did not respond with a strong comeback.

On the cricketing side, Krunal Pandya has been performing steadily in IPL 2026. Notably, he has taken eight wickets in six innings, along with a small contribution with the bat. 

Meanwhile, RCB are currently placed second on the points table. Their next match is scheduled against Gujarat Titans at M Chinnaswamy Stadium on April 24.
