Exploring Mumbai Indians' Options Without Jasprit Bumrah
Mumbai Indians have a solid squad and the five-time winners are touted to lift the title for a record sixth time. However, the bowling attack looks weak without Jasprit Bumrah.
Shedding light on the squad, MI have Shardul Thakur, Ashwani Kumar, and Mohammad Izhar as the pace-battery who might get the chance to replace the right-arm seamer if he misses the season or a certain part because of injury.
Meanwhile, Hardik Pandya, Corbin Bosch, Trent Boult, and Deepak Chahar will have additional responsibilities on their shoulders in Jasprit Bumrah's absence. MI will heavily miss the right-arm seamer as he needs no introduction.
Bumrah, despite missing a section of IPL 2025, the right-arm seamer picked up 18 wickets in 12 innings, with an economy of 6.68.
