Conclusion
In the age-group rivalry that dates back to 1981, when Ravi Shastri and Tim Boon captained the respective teams, India has heavily dominated the H2Hs. The only stat where an Englishman has toppled the Indians is the top wicket-taker of the last series in 2025.
However, both teams will come into the final high on confidence and very formidable playing XIs. Ben Mayes is the second-highest run-scorer of the competition with 399 runs, only 36 behind the leader, and Manny Lumbsden leads the bowling charts with 15 wickets.
Although India looks like the favourites to clinch their 6th title, the teams will depend on their x-factor players to turn up on the big day. The ones who handle the crunch situations better will emerge as champions.
